Barb Avery

Barb Avery learned about real estate through necessity, as her husband was transferred seven times in eleven years, the last time with three children, a cat and hamster. They settled in Kirkland, hoping for "roots". Barb volunteered for Newcomer's groups, schools, Homeowners' Associations, and professional groups.  Her Certified Residential Specialist group promotes true professionalism through education, expertise and experience, and she was an officer for many years. Annette Borell

Annette Borell is the owner of South Sound Law, P.S. in Tacoma, Washington.  She started practicing law in 2001 as in-house counsel at Pierce County Juvenile Court and then moved on to practicing in the areas of business and estate planning with a Seattle-based firm.   After encountering a glass ceiling, she opened her own practice and has now been in business for over three years.  Annette practices in the areas of family law, estate planning, and juvenile delinquency.  She is an instructor for Pierce County Juvenile Court’s guardian ad litem program and also serves as a board member for the local branch of Boys and Girls Club.
